I was in Israel during the Yom Kippur war, and it made it all the more fascinating hearing "Golda" tell it from her perspective. Ms Harper's portrayal was impeccable. "

" What an awesome film. I saw it last night at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. And what an surprise to meet Valerie Harper. She was incredible in the film and equally incredible after, as she shared her views and answered numerous questions. The audience slowly rose to standing ovation after the film. Not a "fake" standing ovation but more slowly, I believe, because we were so moved that it was difficult to rise quickly. We needed a moment to feel the impact and transition out of the film. Thank you for making this spectacular film. "
